Description
About 5 years ago I bought the awesome Tony Ryder book on Classical Drawing where he talks about the block-in, developing the envelope and using diagonal lines when developing a drawing. It took me about five years to fully understand this approach and i am only now confidently using in during life draw.
This is the first of hopefully 5 sessions although the model is new and she is struggling a bit to keep her pose. Hopefully she will return so that I can further attempt to sculpt the form.
