Rieldans

The "rieldans" is a dance that South African khoi people do, old and young. Imagine a meerkat doing energetic but well choreographed moves on the dance floor. This is a preliminary colour and very rough study for a much bigger oil painting. Cant wait to do this on a big scale and hopefully I will be able to capture the soul of the khoi's longing expressed through dance.
